There are many ways to get your children involved in STEM-related activities this February.

February 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, 16, 17,18: Attend YouthSpark Camp and learn to code and create your own game at the Microsoft Store in Boston. Free (Grades K-12)

February 1: Join the Crazy 8s Math Club, a collection of novel, high-octane math activities at the Wellesley Free Library. (Grades 3-5)

February 1, 5: Weekly Girls Who Code club at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 6-12)

February 5: Free admission to The Discovery Museums: Science in Acton.

February 6: Harvard Computer Science students are starting a Girls Who Code club at Harvard. (Grades 6-12)

February 6: Learn about cryogenics and liquid nitrogen at Science on Saturday at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington. Free (Ages 5-17)

February 6: Learn about rockets and flight at Science on Saturday at MIT Kresge Auditorium in Cambridge. Free (All ages)

February 6, 7: Hands-on engineering and design at the MIT Museum in Cambridge. Free with Museum admission. (Ages 12+)

February 7, 20: Participate in simple experiments, structure building, and other fun creations and activities at the Worcester Public Library. (Ages 7-12)

February 9: Learn CSS and add style to your own website at the Central Library branch of the Boston Public Library. (Ages 13-18)

February 14: Empow Studios in Lexington is launching a dedicated Girls STEAM Club! Every week, girls will complete projects in rotating categories through animation, fashion design, 3d modeling, robotics, coding, video game design, and more. Cost $80/mo (Grades 2-8)

February 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (school vacation): Empow Studios is running a week-long Tech & Design Camp in Belmont, Newton, and Lexington. Projects include designing video games, building and programming robots, and creating animations. Cost: $335+

February 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (school vacation): Take classes in robotics, Minecraft, programming and maker activities at Einstein’s Workshop in Burlington. Cost: $199 (Grades K-8)

February 16: Experiment with baking soda, vinegar, soap, milk, lemon juice and curiosity at the Kitchen Chemistry event at the Watertown Free Public Library. (Grades 3-5)

February 16, 17, 18, 19 (school vacation): Combine the science and skills of electronics with creativity as you create your own electronic projects in an electronic design workshop at the MIT Edgerton Center in Cambridge. Cost: $40 donation (Grades 6-8)

February 17: Get your S.T.E.A.M. on with this beach themed simple science activity using sand and other material at the Shrewsbury Public Library. (Grades K-4)

February 17, 18, 19: Participate in Teen Tinker Club and work with LEGO WeDo and Scratch at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 6-12)

February 17: Join in hands-on science experiments at the Faneuil branch of the Boston Public Library. (Ages 4-10)

February 18: Attend a Mad Science event and learn about the principles of air pressure at the Belmont Public Library.

February 18: Create ‘Habitats’ for your Hexbug to do a race in at the Newton Free Library. (Ages 5+)

February 18: Design and print a 3D keychain or animal at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)

February 20: Kids will learn to build their own toys at an introduction to 3D Modeling at the HATCH Makerspace in Watertown. (Ages 9-12)

February 23: Explore LEGO WeDo robotics at the Belmont Public Library. (Grades 2-4)

February 23: Create and invent with littleBits easy-to-use electronic building blocks at the Newton Free Library. (Ages 9-12)

February 24: Come invent at a MaKey MaKey workshop at the Central Library branch of the Boston Public Library. (ages 10-13)

February 25: Learn to code in Python at the Central Library branch of the Boston Public Library. (ages 10-13)

February 26: Hands-on enrichment program with science, technology, engineering and math activities at the Shrewsbury Public Library. (Ages 3-5)

February 27, 28: Attend Blueprint, a weekend long learnathon and hackathon for high school students at MIT. Free event.

February 27: Attend a Mad Science show that includes foggy dry ice and demonstrations of how science is used to float beach balls in the air at the Thomas Crane Public Library. (Ages 3+)
