Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
BostonTechMom uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager software to perform Site usage analytics. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager collect anonymous information from users to help BostonTechMom track Site usage, referrals from other websites, and to track outbound links. These data are used primarily to optimize the website experience for our visitors, but we may use the data as well to assist us in developing marketing plans for the Site.
Information collected and processed by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager includes the user’s IP address, network location, and geographic location. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager acquire all their information directly from the user, by installing a cookie (see below) on the user’s computer. The Site does not share any information it collects with Google, and Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager do not collect any personally identifying information such as names, contact information, social security numbers or financial information. Accordingly, we cannot use any information acquired by Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager to contact you directly.

Affiliate Program Participation. The Site may engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the Site. If you click on a link for an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales for the purpose of commissions.

The websites of our advertisers, vendors, program providers and other websites to which the Site links may also collect user-identifying information directly from you once you proceed to browse those sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of our advertisers, sponsors, vendors, listing providers or other sites or businesses to which we provide hyperlinks or access. Please note that we provide information about STEM programs. We do not register children for programs, nor do we collect information on behalf of any programs to register children for programs. For information about specific program privacy policies, you will need to contact such programs directly.
Any financial transactions for our Site are handled PayPal. We do not store or process your financial and credit card information on our servers. This site uses Google Forms, a third-party web-based tool that specializes in collecting and organizing information. This tool is used only for our questionnaire in connection with our consulting services.
